About

A United States Marine Corps veteran, entrepreneur, and aspiring attorney based in Tampa, Florida — building businesses and giving back.

Roman Lemar was born in Toronto, Ontario, in April 1994. He grew up in California — in Anaheim, in Orange County, and later in Brentwood, where he attended Heritage High School, competing on its robotics team in the 2010 FIRST Tech Challenge — coverage that ran in The Press[1] and the East Bay Times[2] — while dual-enrolled at Los Medanos College. He graduated in 2012.

He enlisted in 2012 and served in the United States Marine Corps until 2019 — starting in international supply chain and logistics before moving to the infantry as an 0331 machine gunner with Charlie Company, 1st Battalion, 24th Marines, out of Lansing, Michigan. He also volunteered with Toys for Tots, including a 2016 toy drive at a Michigan elementary school.[3]

He studied criminal justice at Saginaw Valley State University, earned a business degree with a real-estate-law focus from Purdue University Global in 2025, and is now pursuing his Juris Doctor at Cooley Law School in Tampa.
